E-government and Web Directory

The "e-Government and Web Directory," formerly called the "United States Government Internet Manual," is an indispensable guidebook for anyone who is looking for official U.S. government resources on the Web. The "Directory" contains more than 2,000 site records that provide descriptions and URLs for each site. Evaluations are given for the most important and frequently sought sites. U.S. government organization charts are supplemented with URLs for the 16 Cabinet-level departments and agencies, the House and Senate, and the federal judicial branch. Greater detail on the House and Senate are supplied in two appendixes, providing a roster of Congressional Members with Members' Web sites and a listing of House and Senate Committees with committee URLs and the names of chairpersons and ranking minority members.
