End of the World (as We Knew It)

Easter Island: Our world is changing fast - and not necessarily for the better. By the time the children of the WWII generation have left their mark behind, their own children will either be blessed - or cursed - by their legacy. The soccer mom who buys an SUV to protect her toddler in event of an accident, may actually be destroying her child's future. That same toddler's father - struggling to provide a home while working for an advanced bio-technology corporation - may actually be taking food out of future mouths to feed his own. How are such things possible? Today, we are making the same kinds of choices made by a society found on an island of long ago and far away. Those choices made good sense right up until the very end. The world as we know it will soon be over. The burning question is: "What will take its place?" The answer is in the "End of the World as we knew it" and the new kinds of choices we can start making right now.
